Hidden World: Raccoon

Can you spot all the things associated with a raccoon in this pen and ink drawing?

In my latest pen and ink drawing explorations, I’ve been illustrating holistic images featuring intricate patterns. This series, titled Hidden World, features small creatures and hidden treasures for viewers to discover, much like a scavenger hunt! My first drawing in this series is the Cariboo.

I use a Pilot G-TEC Gel Rollerball Pen with a micro-fine 0.3 mm needle tip typically used for writing.

My Work in Progress

People who came to visit me at the Eastside Culture Crawl loved my Hidden World Raccoon artwork so I thought I would share some photos of my work in progress for this piece.

Many people commented on why my original Raccoon artwork is not for sale. My response is I have a hard time letting go of my artwork that took me a long time to create. One day I will be able to let it go! I was also selling reproduction prints which were printed pretty closely to the original. I have my husband to thank for that. By having prints, I hope to share my art with those who appreciate my art. Thank you for all your support!
