I thought Hidden World: Raven from last year was the most personal piece I had made. But now that Lucky Cat #9 is finished, I can truly say it has become my most personal work that's near and dear to my heart.

I’ll Be at Eastside Culture Crawl this November

I’m so happy that Hidden World, Raven, was chosen to be in the UpperCase Magazine during the summer. It’s always been my dream to be Uppercase, a quarterly magazine for the creative and curious inspired by craft, design, typography, and illustration.

I think many artists can relate to this feeling—or at least I hope they do, so I don't feel alone. For me, the creative process isn’t linear. It comes with highs and plenty of rough patches.

Hidden World: Raven

“The Raven” was my featured piece at the 28th Annual Eastside Culture Crawl in Vancouver. Creating it was such a rewarding experience, especially after struggling with a major creative block for the first half of 2024—nothing I drew seemed to match what I had in mind.
